LET'S ALL MAKE POVERTY HISTORY22 May 2005Dr Geoff Meaden, on behalf of Canterbury District Green Party, is urging support for the Making Poverty History demonstration and festival on Saturday 28th May. The event begins with a demonstration at 12.00 noon marching from the Westgate Gardens to the Dane John where there will be stalls, music and speeches. Geoff Meaden comments: "This event is important to all sections of the community and to people of a wide variety of political persuasions.
