The Bill requires the government to help local authorities and communities implement the strategies they decide for their locality. It also has the support of Caroline Lucas Green MEP for Kent. She has also written to local MP, Damien Green asking him to sign Early Day Motion 881 to register his support for the Bill. This Early Day Motion has already been signed by over 100 MPs.
